BREAKING: Israel Just Targeted The Iranian Red Crescent Headquarters In Tehran
A clear direct assault on medical workers.
More attacks on civilian targets. Which indicates weakness as well as immorality.
The bombing of a girls’ primary school in Minab, Hormozgan province, #Iran, by forces aligned with the US-Israeli military attack killed 148 female students and injured dozens more. This deliberate attack on a civilian educational facility is utterly unacceptable and a grave violation of international law.
Schools and students are protected under international humanitarian law. Any deliberate or indiscriminate attack on such protected civilian objects may constitute a war crime. The international community must urgently hold the perpetrators accountable and take immediate action to protect children and schools in conflict zones.
Pause your Israel-Iran war doomscrolling for a minute, and read this thread.
Settlers are using the war as a distraction to launch a series of attacks across the West Bank. Don't let them do it quietly.
Yesterday morning, we woke up to rocket alerts. Israel began bombing Iran. As often happens when the media attention shifts, Israel seized the moment to intensify its attacks against Palestinians. Here’s what happened while the world was looking the other way🧵
Entire PhD theses could be written about the impacts of the crybully campaign Israel launched after the IDF bombed the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital on Oct 17 2023. Now NYT, CNN etc have a policy where they won’t ascribe blame to Israel until AFTER the IDF admits guilt. It’s madness.
Israeli artillery shelling and intense gunfire pummel the eastern areas of Al-Shuja'iyya and Al-Tuffah neighbourhoods, east of Gaza City.
An hour ago, an Israeli airstrike hit Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
Simultaneously, Israeli forces were seen abducting men in Nablus.
This is all coupled with carpet-bombing Iran and Lebanon.
In 2021, Israel completed a 10-yr construction project called "Fortress of Zion," a new military HQ "beneath Tel Aviv," whose metropolitan area is home to half the population of Israel. Israel uses 50% of its civilian population as a gigantic human shield. https://t.co/UPa9w1LkLX
World Central Kitchen head José Andrés confirms Israel has closed Gaza’s borders indefinitely and warns the NGO will run out of food this week. The group is currently cooking about 1 million hot meals a day.
Extending the targeting of academics seen in Gaza — Lebanese sources report that Dr. Mohammad Rida Fadlallah, president of USAL University, was killed in airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburb.
I am devastated to learn that my childhood friend, Ahmad Sa’ad Ghaben, was killed by an Israeli bullet in Beit Lahia.
Ahmad was shot in the abdomen and died in the hospital two hours later.
Ahmad is survived by his wife and their 4 children.
Today would have been my father-in-law’s 56th birthday.
This is our first Ramadan without him.
Israel killed him on August 3, 2025.
He was a devoted father and husband and a strawberry farmer, a man who found joy in standing beside others in both their happiest and hardest moments. You could always find him at weddings and at funerals, moving quietly through the crowd, making sure everyone had food in their hands.
When we left Gaza and called him from Egypt or the United States, while Israel was starving him and our families, he would tell us, “Eat for me. Enjoy the food for me.” He said this as they survived on stale bread or wild plants gathered from the rubble of our homes.
I will never forget our time together picking strawberries, having barbecues on the rooftops of our homes, swimming in the sea, watching soccer matches, and sitting in our yards talking for hours.
May Uncle Jaleel rest in peace, and may those responsible for his death be brought to justice.
(I took this photo of Uncle Jaleel in Nov 2023 when we were staying a school shelter in Jabalia. Everything is gone now: the homes and the school)
Compare the minimal newspaper coverage of the horrific killing of Iranian schoolgirls with the massive front page multiple newspaper coverage of "baby killings" in Israel THAT NEVER HAPPENED--a 35sec report
Rest in peace, my neighbor Hassan Kilani, who Israel killed today.
Hassan and his wife were blessed with a baby two weeks ago.
At just two weeks old, Hoor has been robbed of her father, a man who should have been there to hold her, guide her, and watch her grow.
Today Israel murdered more children.
Hit with US missiles as they slept.
Israel still blocks all journalists from entering Gaza - they cannot allow the world see their barbarity.

🔴 Oscar-winning Palestinian director of No Other Land, Hamdan Ballal, says Israeli settlers, led by settler Shem Tov Lusky, attacked his home again. Lusky is the same settler who assaulted him after he returned from Los Angeles last year.
Ballal said that after his family called police to report settlers entering their land, Israeli forces arrived, raided the house, beat those inside, arrested four relatives, and left one of his brothers hospitalized.
A recent Israeli court order was meant to bar non-residents from the area and “make things a bit quieter,” Ballal said. Instead, “the opposite has been true.” Settler harassment has intensified, authorities have failed to enforce the ruling, and “today they joined the settlers in the attack.”
He is urging journalists and diplomats to visit on February 17.
A year and a half after Israeli occupation forces bombed their home while the family was inside, civil defense crews begin searching for the remains of 71 members of Abu Al-Nasir family beneath the rubble in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
As Israel continues to restrict the entry of heavy machinery and equipment needed for excavation and recovery operations, search efforts remain severely hindered.
