My wife Becca died in February after the WONDERFUL @NHSEngland gave her 9 extra years living with #Cancer
But during her illness ambulances didnt turn up, beds were unavailable & Drs were scarce because:
Government cuts increased waiting lists from 2.5m to 6m patients, hospital beds dropped from 170k to 132k & care in the community plummeted
I will never forget the kindness of 100s of NHS staff & never forgive the Government that made Becca suffer unnecessarily
Invest in public services!! Now!!

A year ago today, as we braced ourselves for Christmas without families, this is what was happening at Conservative HQ.
Total disregard for everyone who was following the rules.
Perhaps the ppl of North Shropshire would like to know that Cornwall voted to give up EU funding for Johnson Gove promises.
They now get £1 for every £8,333 they got from the EU.
Perhaps a few retweets might get the message up there?
. @BBCNews tonight reporting on post brexit checks on goods going from Great Britain to Northern Ireland forget to remind viewers Boris Johnson sold his Brexit deal to the public on the absolute PROMISE OF NO CHECKS!
RT this if you think they should have
Budget - Inheritance Tax Threshold, The Pension Lifetime Allowance, Annual Annual Exempt Amout for Capital Tax Allowance until 2026
VAT Thresholds stay at £85,000 for another 2 years
Furlough update - There will be no change of terms for furlough. However, after July businesses will be asked for a 10% contribution and this will rise to 20% in August and September.
Johnson is the first prime minister to cause me to be uncertain what our country stands for. A nation I used to love rendered directionless and meaningless by such an inadequate little man.
It has to be said that Manchester (Tier3) with an R rate under 1 & falling has been treated appallingly when London (Tier2) has an R rate above 1 & rising
This is not a Health decision, but a Political one
This is the antithesis of “levelling up”
& unjustified
Shameful & Unfair
I’d rather have a burgundy coloured EU passport that gives unrestricted freedom of movement to live, work, study and travel around 27 other countries than a blue coloured UK passport that doesn’t offer these freedoms. Please retweet if you agree.
