Celebrated International Women’s Day by unveiling the “Ten Women Superstars” exhibit in Lummus Park. It is an honor to serve with three outstanding female City Commissioners and to work with so many incredible women leaders in our administration everyday.

Learning that one of our police officers was injured is gut-wrenching. I went to Jackson Ryder Trauma Unit tonight to visit the officer who was shot in the leg. Thankfully he’s in good spirits and recovering. We pray for all our officers and their safety.
Thank you to @MyFDOT_Miami for the tour of our Miami Beach Traffic Management Center. This one-of-a-kind facility will allow city staff to be integrated with FDOT and @GoMiamiDade staff in an effort to improve traffic in our city.

Today we pause to remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust. Miami Beach became home to many Holocaust survivors who fled Europe, and whose lives and legacies of survival created the dynamic, cultural community we live in today. #HolocaustRemembranceDay
