... Problem is that they were looking at the wrong item on the order (the item which got lost in postage, rather than the item I'm complaining about). I submitted an appeal three weeks ago, they said that they'd get back to me within 48h. And here we are, with absolutely no reply
Never using @eBay again. I hear the horror stories but it finally happened to me. Purchased a poster, looked like it was an authentic one, nothing to indicate that it was a reprint. It arrives, it looks and feels horrendous, I contact the seller and they give me a partial...
... refund barely covering the cost of the item minus postage. I ask if they can issue a full refund (as it's that bad) but get no response. I escalate to ebay, they take ages but finally get back to me and say that they'll raise a buyer protection case, which got denied. ...
TIL that the @USPS has lost the spinny @odesza pin that I got from Ebay in transit so there's no chance of having it arrive before the Cinematic event. Well, I'm not *Hopeful*.
And I know it's not just an issue with my new handset cause I was dual-simming while my number was being transferred and it was absolutely flawless on my old network. If I can find an out clause then it'll probably mean that I have to return the handset too, which is a pain.
Signed up for a new contract with @O2 less than a month ago and oh my god I wish I was still back on @ThreeUK - the mobile data around here is absolutely awful, even with 4 bars of 4G. Locked in for another 23 months... There must be an out clause somewhere...
Fun fact no one needed to know of the day - I wore my @madeon Dischead Acid Wash tee (that arrived literally the night prior after a ton of issues shipping) for my driving test. I passed first time. I want to say that it was down to the shirt! It definitely helped my confidence.
@BBCR1 is keeping me company in the middle of nowhere while I wait for the RAC... There are worse scenarios for sure, at least I get to jam out while I'm waiting 🤘
The new @TeamViewer is absolute dogshit and that's a hill that I'm willing to die on. Flashy, modern UI but the underlying UX is awful - you have to go digging through three clicks to connect to an ID and Password. As opposed to just opening the app and immediately typing it.
Like, I know that I wronged Clippy as a kid but come on, this is a bit extreme.
Note to myself for the future: Do NOT use the Windows 11 Development Environment option in the Hyper-V Quick Create gallery
Today on #MicrosoftMoments... I have to do an entire fresh install because there's no way to upgrade my Development VM from Win 11 Enterprise Eval to a fully licensed retail version without completely deleting all of my data. Even just over the top using the ISO. Fuck that.
