For the past several months, we’ve been closely watching how projects behave in the current market.

The reality is that this is not 2024 or 2025. Retail liquidity is thinner, attention moves faster, and capital is constantly rotating into the next project. We are seeing good projects get strong initial attention and volume, only for liquidity to begin moving elsewhere weeks later.

Rather than pretending every launch is going to run to $100M+, we want CME to build around the market that actually exists.
That is why we created CME Continuum.
The goal is to make participating in CME projects more attractive, encourage stronger initial participation and continued buying, and help build healthier volume — while giving qualifying CME community members another potential opportunity if a project doesn't perform as hoped.

The easiest way to understand Continuum

You buy and hold 1,000,000 qualifying tokens of Project A.

Your verified personal position eventually reaches a 75%+ loss.

A new qualifying Project B launches.
You choose to REDEEM your Continuum position.

Your preliminary allocation is:
1,000,000 Project A tokens × 25% = 250,000 Project B tokens

So instead of Project A simply being the end of the road, your qualifying Project A position can potentially give you positioning in Project B.

The current tiers are:
50% personal loss → 5% of your qualifying token count
60% personal loss → 10%
70% personal loss → 15%
75%+ personal loss → 25%

To participate, you must also hold at least $100 worth of $CME on Base at the required eligibility checkpoints.

A few important points:
•Additional legitimate buys into Project A can count, so continuing to build your position can increase your qualifying token count.

•Your personal loss is calculated using your actual USD buys, sells, realized proceeds, and remaining position — not simply how far the chart is down.

•Every qualifying token must come from a verifiable same-wallet market purchase.

•Each upcoming Continuum opportunity has a purchase cutoff, so you can't wait for Project B to be announced and then buy Project A just to farm the allocation.

•When the time comes, you choose REDEEM or PASS.

•If you redeem Project A into Project B, that Project A Continuum claim is finished.

•No more than 10% of Project B's total supply can be allocated through Continuum. If community claims exceed that pool, allocations are scaled proportionally.
Why are we doing this?

We want members to feel that participating heavily in a CME project does not necessarily mean everything rides on that one project becoming a massive winner.
The best outcome is always for Project A itself to succeed.

But Continuum is designed to give the community another reason to participate, build positions, generate volume, and remain involved across the CME ecosystem — while CME continues launching and supporting opportunities.

More participation. More volume. More reasons to stay involved. More opportunities across the ecosystem.

This is an experiment, not guaranteed recovery or guaranteed profit. But we believe it is a much more realistic approach to the market we have been watching develop over the last several months.

With all of the craziness going on in my life right now, after careful consideration I have decided to take a step back from @CMEdevelops. I say this with a heavy heart as @luckydai2014 and TMac are literally two of my best friends in this space. And I will be continuing to support them in anything involving the $CME ecosystem. I just literally don’t have the time to keep up with the day to day it takes in running projects with 3 kids heavy in to sports. Again, there is ZERO fallout from myself and $CME. Love those guys like brothers and I wish them incredible success in this sector. I just need to focus on priorities closer to home. This will also have ZERO effect on all @CMEdevelops projects and rest assured all projects and funds remain safe with the team! Introducing Slow Roll: A More Responsible Launch Mechanism
Launches in crypto have changed. Snipers, bots, and automated scripts have become faster, smarter, and more aggressive. Too often, a project launches and a small group of snipers captures a massive portion of supply in the opening seconds. They buy at an extremely low market cap, then dump at a predetermined level, crushing momentum before the project ever has a real chance to build.

We have seen the same pattern many times: snipers grab supply at a $2K market cap, sell heavily at $30K, and the project gets damaged before the community can even form around it.

That is exactly what Slow Roll is designed to prevent.

What Is Slow Roll?
Slow Roll means the full supply will not be released into the market all at once. Instead, supply will be rolled out gradually, responsibly, and strategically.

At launch, snipers can fight over the initial launch portion. But they will not be able to capture the majority of the supply and dictate the future of the project in the first few minutes.

This gives the project room to breathe, build, and grow without being immediately controlled by bots and opportunistic launch snipers.

Why This Matters

Slow Roll accomplishes several important things:
First, it protects the project during its most vulnerable stage. The opening moments of a launch are when projects are easiest to manipulate. By limiting the amount of supply available immediately, we reduce the ability for snipers to take control.
