The worst part about the #FarageRiots is that the memory of the three murdered girls and support for their families and friends has moved to second place as criminal racist looting thugs, spurred on by populists - including sitting members of our own parliament - take to the streets causing havoc

We should be remembering Alice Dasilva Aguiar, Bebe King, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, praising the police who came to catch the murderer, and the other emergency service workers from the ambulances to the doctors and nurses who did what they could at this truly horrific time

And we should be asking ourselves the extent to which mental health services underfunded by the Conservative government of 14 years, led to a situation where a 17 year old autistic child born and raised in Wales ended up murdering three young girls at a Taylor Swift dance party

Instead, everything since the rioting began has been about thugs terrorising people in towns and cities across our country. They've made this about themselves and their egos, taking away from the memory of the lost children and the support their families need at this extremely difficult time

The thugs do not represent the vast majority of the British people yet their behaviour is impacting large swathes of our communities

We saw how Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Nigel Farage, Jacob Ree-Mogg, Matthew Elliott, Dominic Cummings, Daniel Hannan, Rishi Sunak, and so many others all stoked divisive anti EU and anti immigration/asylum seeker policies to push for Brexit.

The division all of these and others caused has helped flame the anger felt by the far right thugs who are venting a mix of anti-immigrant rhetoric, with the effects of 14 years of underfunding public services

Why is our system so broken that no legal action is taken against those who have caused these divisions?

We are meant to live in a world where individuals and communities feel safe with one another, support one another, and contribute to society, improving things for everyone

May we find paths to peace in our communities and societies, because the alternative of more division doesn't help anyone other than the populists who are driving diversionary narratives

Putin separated the UK from the EU dividing Europe with Brexit. Now foreign influence is agitating and frustrating men and women, causing anger, division, public disorder, and damage to our high streets

We, all of us, do and should want our country back - but this isn't a racist call, it's a call for unity against those who try to divide us, and it is a call to support those who protect us, such as the police, not make them targets of vented anger and frustration

The murder of Alice Dasilva Aguiar, Bebe King, and Elsie Dot Stancombe should anger us all, but how we respond determines whether or not we build our communities, make them stronger, and protect each other from further injustices

Watching BBC news tonight makes me want to scream. The presenters keep calling the Nazi thugs "protesters." There is no protest in burning hotels, libraries, places of worship, and Citizens Advice bureaus. What these people are doing is outright terrorism.

These riots are a direct result of mainstream politicians cosying up to the far right in an attempt to gain voters. Racism and anti-immigration rhetoric have become so ingrained into the UK political landscape that neo-Nazis feel like they're voicing "what everyone is thinking."
