I’m finally putting Metroid away. Today I no death ran it. When you start the game again you play as Samus without the suit. You have your power ups, but need to collect energy & missile packs. I wanted to get that sub-1 hour ending and I was able to get it.

It’s official…. I have now beaten 100 NES games. Metroid is such a special game. It has some flaws no doubt, lack of a map or even a save feature, but I think the positives far outweigh the negatives. I’m glad I saved this game for this moment.

Did you know you could beat Tetris on a he Gameboy? Select “type B” “level 9, speed 5” and clear the he required amount of lines to see an end screen.
