Today was the 7th year that 80 Playbook Initiative Student Leaders led the anti-bullying/discrimination Playbook program school-wide in an effort to recognize & stop discrimination while raising awareness on issues relating to race, religion, gender, disability & orientation.

It’s Parent Teacher Conference day and the halls & classrooms are alive with student energy. 8th grade conferences have been rebooted in putting the student in the center, as every 8th grader in leading a 20 to 30 minute conference about areas of strength and growth in school!

Today 6th gr had a one day residency w/ a team of Bionic educators, including U.S. National Amputee Soccer Association. Day started w/ grade assembly, every English class connecting with the novel Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus, and ended with an Amputee Soccer game

Today — for the seventh year — close to 100 DEIB Student Leaders came together for our annual Playbook Initiative Student Leader Summit. We were so fortunate to have @chuckcooperfnd, son of Chuck Cooper, first Black NBA player ever drafted officially start the training!
