@BrianFisherLORW Idk, I mean Yzerman has prioritized “asset management” through retaining his draft picks and they’re 10 years running sans playoffs. I get the age thing but if they use it to win a title there’s no telling what the future looks like. But they have a title?
@seth_walters1@tmatthewshockey Very Pie in the Sky. I’m a Red Wings fan and we have literally nothing outside Seider to offer w Larkin to land Leo. Plus multiple 1sts. And even then they’re not moving him lol.
@nickbaumgardner 24-30 is too many slices of revenue to share equitably for these big schools who want ultimate tv revenue. The big dogs can round up 16 of the biggest money makers and blue bloods and make much larger pie pieces, why invite tier two type programs?
@MrOH1O Maybe, uhhh, MSU football. Huge school, alumni base w $$, should be able to stay in the top 10 range on paper, but can’t find the big fish and tends to shoot themselves in the foot most years.
@HorsemenPod@PBACrane834@BoomSakaSaka …Michigan laid legitimate claim to a stop of land from the base of Lake Michigan to the west, a straight line east to Maumee Bay. If anything, both Toledo and South Bend are Michigan, that’s being colonized by Ohionists and Hoosier Settlers in our lands.
@JD_Jerbear I bailed. The day they wouldn’t fund top flight league play for the women, they broke my joy. Won’t be back until Fosun is blasted into the sun. Life long supporters deserve so much more.
@Wolffman96 They designed it that way with no suites underneath the 200 section, so the far down first base line upper deck area was closer to the field for better sight lines.
@RyanHanaWWP Counterpoint: While Vipers nostalgia hits DEEP, it’d be way better if the PWHL team had their own identity. But I wouldn’t be mad if they recycled the red, light blue and black color scheme and uniform layout lol.
@Blutman27 Detroit has at least an argument for the wings being top 2. The Tigers PROBABLY take that cake but the wings have consistently pushed large crowds while being down, they’re probably ahead of the pistons.
@RoxysRumble@buckeye__nick@ConorOrr@SInow That’s great. $2 bil should be enough to build a stadium. But it’s not, because they want additional billions. So they can create more money making machines to profit off of. All while raising ticket prices, concessions, etc. Stop welfare payments to billionaires.
