Drinking & driving puts the public at risk. Especially when you are driving a big rig. A semi truck driver was caught with open liquor in D3. The truck was impounded for 30 days & the driver was issued a 90 day Immediate Roadside Prohibition. Don’t drive & drive!

Update: Driver of the transport truck involved in this fatal collision - Sahil GHAI, 36 from Brampton has been charged with:
1)Criminal Negligence causing Death
2)Criminal Negligence causing bodily harm
The accused was released from bail and has a scheduled court date to attend
Fatal collision: #Hwy400 SB south of Finch. Loaded transport truck collided into slowing/stopped traffic causing a 7 vehicle wreck. Investigation and cleanup will take hours. Expect delays and avoid the area.
Recently, a Traffic Management Unit officer stopped this tow truck driver travelling 120 km/hr in a posted 70 km/hr zone in the south end of the city. Charged with stunt driving, his truck was impounded for 14 days, and his licence was suspended for 30 days. #SLOWDOWN#ldnont
1231PM Dundas/Bronte: Driver stopped as unlicensed. Driver charged and vehicle relocated to a parking lot; to allow driver to rectify licence.
1252PM Dundas/Third: Driver stopped again; still unlicensed. Charged again.
Now I get to play babysitter until this is sorted.
Collision: wb #Hwy401/10 - Pick up rear ended MTO @ONtransport crash truck during lane closure operation. Pick up rolled over. Minor injuries. Driver charged: Careless Driving and Liquor readily available by #MississaugaOPP. #SlowDownMoveOver.

Working in @HRPSBurl today. This loaded truck passed us on Dundas St. Load straps damaged & load not balanced or secure, weight was all to the rear of the vehicle. This truck needs min 21% of gross weight over the front axle but only had 17%. Brake & lighting issues as well.^MD
