@Derick_R_White @DrLCsquare Nor is she disabled! I’m disgusted it’s considered disability leave. I suggested @UofCalifornia change this with no success. They don’t pay into the State Disability Insurance and have their own instead so there’s nothing stopping them from renaming it.

@fraser_lab And you have to sign up/pay for voluntary short-term disability insurance to be able to get the 55% of your salary or else you’ll only get a measly $800 a month with UC’s basic disability insurance!
