@angolfclassic@DavidAmber@AlexNewhook_ My boys were hoping to go but we didn’t realize that tickets would not be available to purchase. Will there be more giveaways before Monday? Keeping on eye on all social media but don’t want to miss anything.
If you understand trauma & understand adolescent brain science,we are punishing young people & wondering why it isn't getting better. In education, we need need to understand brain development & how children behave. This would change educational settings for the better.🧠🌱
Like many others, I am giving considerable thought about staying here on X. But I have built a great amount of contacts on here that have been incredibly helpful. I also use accounts for my classroom news and our school information.
What are some good alternatives?
I’m not for everyone 🤷♀️ But the older I get, the less I care what people think. I stay true to my beliefs, fight for what I believe is right and I try to have a little fun while doing it.
“Why would we cheat in your class?”
From an interesting discussion with my kids about cheating today.
When kids feel like they own their learning, they find little (if any) reason to cheat.
When they don’t feel like they own their learning, they find many reasons.
#1?
Fear of failing.
And that’s on us.
Kids cheat.
Because we taught them to.
We can do better.

@tctaylor87 I think it’s that school boards didn’t assign stops back then. Drivers just stopped where groups of kids gathered. My dad & neighbors built a shelter there and it became a stop 😆
Now drivers only stop at designated, pre approved stops.
What a great morning with @Grade5Woolgar and the @2025canadagames team at the launch of #CatchTheSpirit
Even got a snap with Gusty - the mascot designed by a young boy in our community.
Fun times ahead as we roll out these activities in our classrooms this year!
