Issues with the system are that it requires a great demand on our central midfielders to cover a lot of ground and we haven’t got the depth for that. It also only leaves space for one more player next to Ekitike whether its Isak/Salah long term as OOP Isak and Salah don’t press.

♦️Central overloads ~ plenty of midfield profiles who like to combine in close proximity and can counter pressing effectively

♦️CF like Ekitike who wants to drop and combine too, but can also stretch with movement in beyond
