[Justin Trudeau @JustinTrudeau]

I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.

In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.

Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.

ALERT have arrested 44-year-old Jason Campbell after finding what they call "extreme" child abuse material on his computer, calling it some of the worst they've seen.

They add the Edmonton man has been charged before and had been offering his services as a babysitter. #yeg

@OhSheri1 Yes true, I was more or less noting the 1 million registered voters that didn't vote.

[Courtney McQueen-Obeso @CMcQueenO]

Every vote counts. If you think it doesn't, Calgary-Acadia candidate only won by 7 votes (as of this morning).

[Blake Shaffer 📊🇨🇦🇺🇦 @bcshaffer]

Final (unofficial) results.

NDP needed 2611 votes across 6 ridings to win a majority. Over 1,000,000 registered voters did not vote.

Regional splits are stark. NDP sweep Edmonton. Split in Calgary. UCP dominates elsewhere.

@Lu_Lams_ @SophiaKianni Also doesn't help when they limit those who would have the money to pay for it themselves: "Those who are already employed full-time are not eligible to apply."

The world lost the most special boy and an absolute hero last night. Ben, you were the best son we could ever hope for and you were my best bud ever. Your sisters were so lucky to have you as such a sweet brother. You fought so long and hard and beat so many odds.

When motorcycles crash, riders lack the protection of an enclosed vehicle, and are more likely to be injured/killed.
