.@usahockey has changed playing rules for next season now allowing youth teams at 15U and older to once again ice the puck while on the penalty kill. It had previously an icing at all levels for last few years.

Personal opinion: Would've loved to see @HockeyCanada adopt this rule across board, then NCAA, CHL, NHL and pro hockey. Instead, USA Hockey went the other way to conform to those other levels after leading the pack.

You don't get to ice the puck at even-strength. Why should you get to after committing an infraction?

Love the idea of forcing players to make a creative play with the puck instead of lobbing it down the ice.
