@Rainmaker1973 His point has merit and is akin to Aristotle. However, he fails to provide the epistemic basis for why anyone would care in the first place. Ricky is smart and has some follow-through, but he does not understand enough. If he could just connect a few more dots. . .
@darwintojesus Premise 3 is flawed. What and how does one judge what is perfect or imperfect? Those terms rely explicitly on the purpose of the thing created.

In response to the Epstein news today, I have seen some posit the idea that hiding the information is useful for leverage against political enemies.
I am not favorable to that theory or approach. God commands rulers to govern in the light by His truth, not by shadows of manipulation.
A civil minister “is a servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer” (Rom. 13:4). Meaning justice must be public, impartial, and righteous, not by trafficking in darkness in order to leverage power against the traffickers of children.
“Justice, and only justice, you shall follow” (Deut 16:20). “Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24).
Scripture commands, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them” (Eph 5:11). A civil servant who hides evil for influence or private payback is not restraining wickedness; he is institutionalizing it.
We do not fight darkness by using it. Blackmail is not statecraft, it is an abomination: “It is an abomination to kings to do evil” (Prov 16:12).
Some appeal to prudence, be “wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Matt 10:16), and argue that strategic secrecy can restrain greater evil. But to suppress known wickedness, especially of the kind connected to child exploitation, is not wisdom. It is a form of complicity. It is self-assured arrogance.
Better to deal in the truth and thereby uphold the Person of Christ. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). We fight evil by dragging it into the light. That is where Christ reigns. And if we will not reign with Him in the light, we will fall with the wicked in the shadows.
@__Conall Almost as cool as my Reteq. You will never be sad about this. Also, do chicken quarters at 375-400. Keep skin on, and season with spices under skin. Cook until up to 165 degrees. I do about 10 lbs at a time and shred what we don't eat for BBQ mac and cheese, chiken fajitas. etc.
@smashbaals I worried that a lot of the "Reformed revival" were truly just fad-followers who thought beards, cigars, and old oak were chic. I don't know if that is the case, but I suspect that it is/was the case for some.
@jchaddix@WokePreacherTV No, that is sadly inaccurate. She will never again be a virgin and no debt collector will say "Oh, you're a Christian? In that case we'll cancel your credit card debt immediately." While I understand what you want to say, it isn't true.
