My frustrations with Overwatch right now: I think tank was already super strong, the only thing that made it feel weak or unplayable was multiple people on the other team counterswapping. If you didn’t swap after that you couldn’t play. So it was on the tank player only to swap and sometimes you’d lose because they won’t, but at least you can kind of help them with your own hero pick. Well now in season 10 after the tank buff, full team counterswapping against their tank is required to win or else they’re just a giga raid boss. ESPECIALLY against roadhog and ESPECIALLY if the other team has counterswapped your own tank. But we are playing ranked and our teammates will not swap. So even if you yourself do the correct thing, a lot of games feel out of control. And this “out of my hands” effect compounds on itself, because if people feel it’s RNG, they will play alts/smurfs, making it even more RNG because their elo is wrong or they don’t care bc alt acc. This is why I haven’t queued main role this entire season outside of a few games. It feels like a true coin toss where I have no impact, even with a duo. Especially in GM2, where so few people are playing we are given 3 masters players every game and have to carry them against a full team of higher elo
