پاکستان آج عالمی یومِ آبادی پر اقوام عالم کے ساتھ ہم آواز ہو کر آبادی کی پائیدار ترقی اور خوشحالی کی ضامن ذمہ دارانہ منصوبہ بندی کے عزم کی تجدید کرتا ہے۔

آبادی کی ذمہ دارانہ اور دانشمندانہ منصوبہ سازی اور نظم و نسق ہی فلاحی معاشرہ کی بیناد ہے۔وسائل سے متناسب آبادی سہولیات کی منصفانہ تقسیم اور خوشحال عوام کی ضمانت ہے۔

عالمی سطح پر آبادی کے موضوع پر مختص یہ دن اسکی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ اس سال یہ عالمی دن "نوجوانوں کی امیدوں اور امنگوں کو آج اور مستقبل میں حقیقت بنانا" کے زیرعنوان منایا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ موضوع اس حقیقت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے کہ خوشحال مستقبل کی تشکیل میں نوجوان مرکزی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں۔ نئی نسل کے لئے سازگار ماحول کی فراہمی ہماری اجتماعی ذمہ داری ہے۔

آبادی کے اعتبار سے پاکستان دنیا کا پانچواں بڑا ملک ہے اور نمایاں نوجوان آبادی کے تناسب کی وجہ سے نمایاں ممالک میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔ مجموعی ملکی آبادی کا پینسٹھ فیصد سے زائد حصہ تیس برس سے کم عمر افراد پر مشتمل ہے، جو ایک قیمتی قومی سرمایہ اور معاشی و سماجی ترقی کا مضبوط محرک ہے۔ تاہم آبادی میں سالانہ 2.55 فیصد اضافہ معاشی منصوبہ بندی، روزگار کی فراہمی، تعلیم، صحت، رہائش، غذائی تحفظ، بنیادی شہری ڈھانچے کی ترقی اور ماحولیاتی پائیداری کے حوالے سے بڑے چیلنجز بھی پیدا کرتا ہے۔

نوجوان آبادی کی استعداد سے بھرپور استفادہ اور مثبت ثمرات کے لیےدستیاب ملکی وسائل میں مسلسل سرمایہ کاری اور جامع حکمتِ عملی ناگزیر ہے ۔ تاکہ انسانی فلاح اور صلاحیتوں کی نشوو نما کو ترقی کے عمل کا محور بنایا جاسکے۔

ملکی آبادی اور ترقی کے تناظر میں جامع اور موثر قومی حکمت عملی کی تشکیل کے لئے وفاقی حکومت کے زیر نگرانی *قومی کونسل برائے آبادی* قائم کی گئی ہے۔ آبادی کے لیے بہترین منصوبہ سازی کے لیے یہ اعلیٰ سطحی قومی فورم وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتی پالیسی ہم آہنگی اور اداراجاتی روابط کو یقینی بناۓ گا۔ یہ کونسل قومی آبادی پروگرام کے نفاذ کے لیے پالیسی رہنمائی کے ساتھ ساتھ قومی ترجیحات کے مطابق مؤثر عمل درآمد کے ضمن میں ضروری اور بر وقت فیصلہ سازی بھی کرے گی۔

علاوہ ازیں آبادی سے متعلق امور کی قومی ترقیاتی ایجنڈے میں مؤثر شمولیت، بااختیار خواتین، انسانی وسائل کی ترقی سمیت دیگر حقائق پر مبنی پہلوؤں کی پالیسی سازی اور طویل المدتی سماجی و معاشی خوشحالی کے لیے کام کونسل کی اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہے۔

نوجوانوں کو باصلاحیت، ذمہ دار اور بااختیار شہری بنانے کے عظیم مقصد کے حصول کے لیۓ وزیراعظم یوتھ پروگرام اور دیگر اہم قومی اقدامات بھی اٹھاۓ جا رہے ہیں۔

تمام شہری بلا تفریق رنگ و نسل بالخصوص معاشرے کے کمزور طبقات سہولیات کی فراہمی اور مستقبل کی منصوبہ بندی میں خصوصی توجہ کے مستحق ہیں۔ ایسے تمام طبقات بشمول خواتین اور بچیوں کی تعلیم، صحت، معاشی شمولیت اور مساوی مواقع حکومت کی ترجیح ہیں۔

آبادی سے متعلق چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے حکومت اور معاشرے کے تمام طبقات کی مشترکہ کاوشیں ناگزیر ہیں۔ میں تمام متعلقہ اکائیوں بشمول وفاقی و صوبائی حکومت، اراکینِ پارلیمان، ترقیاتی شراکت دار، سول سوسائٹی، جامعات، نجی شعبہ، علمائے کرام، ذرائع ابلاغ اور مقامی برادریاں سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ آبادی کےمعاملے کی حساسیت کے مد نظر ہنگامی بینادوں پر اپنی سماجی ذمہ داری کا احساس کریں اور آبادی سے متعلق باخبر فیصلوں، ذمہ دارانہ پرورش، صنفی مساوات اور پائیدار ترقی کے فروغ میں اپنا مؤثر کردار ادا کریں۔

انشاءاللہ! اجتماعی عزم اور مشترکہ کاوشوں کے ذریعے ہم ایسا ماحول یقینی بنا سکتے ہیں جہاں ہر شہری کو صحت مند، باوقار اور باصلاحیت زندگی گزارنے کے یکساں مواقع میسر ہوں۔ مشترکہ کوششوں سے ہم ملکی آبادیاتی صلاحیت کو دیرپا قومی قوت میں بدل سکتے ہیں اور موجودہ و آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ایک مضبوط، مستحکم، خوشحال اور ترقی یافتہ مستقبل کو یقینی بنا سکتے ہیں۔

We discussed the evolving regional situation and underscored the imperative of restraint, dialogue and diplomacy to safeguard the hard-earned peace gains of recent months.

Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and property caused by the recent devastating storms, tornadoes, landslides and heavy rains in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Hubei and Gansu provinces of China.

The people of Pakistan join me in extending our heartfelt condolences to H.E. President Xi Jinping, the Government and the people of China, especially the bereaved families.

Pakistan joins the United States in celebrating this remarkable milestone and the enduring values of freedom, resilience, and democracy. Our two nations enjoy a partnership spanning more than seven decades, strengthened by the invaluable contributions of the Pakistani-American community.

History has proven time and again that the United States and Pakistan have stood together at the most consequential moments, whenever peace and security of the world have been at stake.

Paid my respects and conveyed deepest condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, to the Government and brotherly people of Iran at the funeral ceremony of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Shaheed Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

The late Supreme Leader’s wisdom, leadership and profound influence on Iran and the wider region will be remembered for generations.

To demonstrate our solidarity with the Iranian people, I was accompanied by a high powered delegation including DPM Ishaq Dar, CDF & COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, senior Parliamentarians, including Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, as well as senior Ministers and government officials.

As a brotherly neighbor, Pakistan stands with Iran in this time of grief.

Alhamdulillah! Today marks another important milestone in Pakistan’s economic reform journey.

The successful First Financial Closing of the PIA privatisation transaction, and the transfer of management control to the investor consortium, marks the beginning of a new chapter for our national carrier. With a transformational investment to modernise and strengthen PIA, we are laying the foundation for its revival while reinforcing investor confidence in Pakistan.

I commend Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and pay special tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and his dedicated team, as well as Adviser to the Prime Minister on Privatisation Muhammad Ali, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Privatisation Commission, and all those whose professionalism, commitment and tireless efforts made this landmark achievement possible.

Together, we will continue to pursue bold reforms that strengthen our economy, create opportunities for our people, and secure a more prosperous future for Pakistan.

یہ دن اللہ تعالیٰ کی نصرت، اہلِ ایمان کی کامیابی اور حق کی سربلندی کے لیے قربانیوں کے عظیم واقعات کی یا�� دہانی ہے۔ نواسۂ رسول ﷺ ، حضرت امام حسینؓ اور ان کے جانثار رفقا کی عظیم قربانی نے یومِ عاشور کو تاریخِ اسلام میں منفرد اور دائمی اہمیت کا حامل بنا دیا۔

واقعہ کربلا ہمیں یہ پیغام دیتا ہے کہ اصولوں اور اقدار کی پاسداری ایک باوقار اور مہذب معاشرے کی بنیاد ہے۔ حضرت امام حسینؓ نے اپنے طرز عمل سے ثابت کیا کہ حق و صداقت، عدل و انصاف اور انسانی عظمت کے تحفظ کے لیے قربانی دینا درحقیقت ظلم و جبر، ناانصافی اور باطل کے سامنے سرِ تسلیم خم کرنے سے افضل ہے۔

واقعہ کربلا اصلاح امت، احیائے سنتِ نبوی ﷺ اور امر بالمعروف و نہی عن المنکر کے عظیم مقصد کے لیے کاوش کا نام ہے۔ یہ مقصد ہم سے تقاضا کرتا ہے کہ ہم اپنی انفرادی اور اجتماعی زندگیوں میں عدل و انصاف، صبر و برداشت اور ذمہ داری کے اوصاف کو فروغ دیں۔ اختلافات ,نفرت اور انتشار کے بجائے باہمی احترام، رواداری اور یکجہتی جیسی اقدار کی مضبوطی ہمارا پیش نظر ہونا چاہیے۔

میں پوری قوم، بالخصوص علماء کرام، مشائخ عظام، ذاکرین، میڈیا اور نوجوان نسل سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ وہ یومِ عاشور کے حقیقی پیغام کو اجاگر کریں، بین المسالک احترام و ہم آہنگی کو فروغ دیں، اشتعال انگیزی اور نفرت کا سد باب کریں۔

آئیے آج کے موقع پر یہ عہد کریں کہ حضرت امام حسینؓ اور شہدائے کربلا کی عظیم قربانی کی رہنمائی میں حق و انصاف کے ساتھ اپنی وابستگی مضبوط کریں گے۔ معاشرے کے کمزور اور محروم طبقات کے حقوق کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنائیں گے اور اپنے کردار و عمل سے ایک مضبوط، متحد اور پرامن قوم کی تعمیر میں اپنا بھرپور کردار ادا کریں گے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا بھر میں امن و استحکام اور پوری امتِ مسلمہ کو اتحاد، اتفاق اور خیر و برکت سے نوازے۔

یومِ عاشور بلا شبہ اسلامی تاریخ کا ایک فکر ��نگیز دن ہے جو نوع انسانی کو ایمان، صبر و استقامت، ایثار، حق پسندی اور اصلاحِ معاشرہ کے بے مثال اسباق سے روشناس کراتا ہے۔
