Even when I am doing okay (such as today) I truly despise this market.

It makes so little sense to me.

For instance Berkshire and Visa are not just low beta stocks at the moment but on the evidence of the last two months they are actually negative beta stocks.

I can't stress enough how wierd that is.

It means for instance they are worse than useless for hedging my short book.

Looks like we have entered the Tupac vs. Biggie stage of VC and AI investing judging by the posts by my good friend @shaunmmaguire, @vkhosla and others that have crossed my feed.
Free tip for those who need to "get in the mood" to write a vitriolic post. Before I mellowed, I used to play this song back in the days before writing my confrontational activist letters. @bhorowitz will appreciate.

Hey @AlexanderSoros what’s the parsha this week?

Just refinanced my mortgage from 4.625% to 7.625%.

Why?

Because I’ve become too complacent and need more financial pressure to reach my full potential.

Shavuot is "Z’man Mattan Toratenu" – "the time of the giving of our Torah".

Why, then, were Simchat Torah and Shavuot not joined together and made into one impressive day of celebration?

@ClareONeilMP Another government scheme backfires, imagine my shock.

After initial excitement, young people now have a noose around their neck.

Negative equity, unexpected maintenance bills, increased mortgage payments.

Plus unable to move to take new jobs, promotions or opportunities.
