@spittinchiclets I know I’m late to this but complaining about the conf finals not being a “classic”. Ask yourself, what were the matchups you were looking for? Vegas/COL clearly the best 2 teams. CAR cleaned everyone. MTL beat TB and BUF. What matchup(s) would have been better?
Regardless of your hockey team, this Stanley Cup Finals intro is absolutely unbelievable…
Ray Bourque interview, @TheKillers ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ playing, Jon Hamm narrating… Just perfection. Made me tear up.
Extremely well done 👏🏽👏🏽
@FDaniels86@RearAdBsBlog And, on paper, they shouldn’t have been. I like that, “the chaotic underdog.” I think the hope is you hook some passive viewership in round one and hope they stick around to see it through. A great movie goes through its ‘all is lost’ moment to better set up the climax.
@TheDenMama@ThatEricAlper I had a buddy show me the live in Chicago dvd and, I know people say this a lot when it comes to bands/music, but my life changed in that moment.
@PeteBlackburn I think this is exactly Gary’s format. The best matchups when everyone’s hungry for it. By the time the summer weather kicks, just get to the Final, stat.
@Jessemedscience This sounds like they do pay attention to the psychology ie. if you can’t handle being the small fish in the big pond, they should test that. If I’m management, any sense of entitlement would be a huge red flag for me. Something you’d hope was tackled in pre-draft interviews.
@batcountry1980 As someone who loved them through the 90’s, it’s a sound that doesn’t stand the test of time. Having said that, still a handful or so of gems in their repertoire. And I love Frusciante’s playing.
“Tell him to enter the password he knows is correct. Inform him it is incorrect. Invite him to reset it. Watch as he enters the password he believed it to be all along. Then tell him he cannot use it… because it is his current password.”
@spaulding_rob@thatssoleafy77 I agree. I think I said it in another response, thinking BOS was getting a top 10 pick this year was exciting and it is no more. a little icing for the Leaf fans.
But, my sub-tweet was toward nonsense saying the Leafs got the #1 pick in the trade. Like the Bruins gave it up.
