In weather conditions that would make even mallards go “Duck that!”, we were reminded of the immortal Forest Gump scene as the rain came down, sideways and some how upwards too.

After a dominant first half, putting 14 points on NW, we were slowly ground down by a disciplined and sturdy NW defence and with some clever play from their fly half, we were pipped to the post 18-19.

Winners are grinners! On Wednesday, @WaspsFC hosted us for the second leg of our local derby against NW BCU and this time, we won! The fist leg held at the start of the year was a tough match where NW deservedly won but this time, we came out on top. The series is now 1-1….
