Introducing Bloom 🌸
Think of payments… but continuous.
Bloom is an app built on Celo using Superfluid and GoodDollar to make money move in real time instead of static transactions. It rethinks how salaries, savings, allowances, and even community finance could work if money behaved more like streaming data than monthly bank transfers.
The idea started from a simple question:
Why do we work continuously… but get paid in delayed chunks?

Spice, who’s well known for singing dirty and explicit lyrics like “Pussy no battery out, so mi ole can skin out”, and has a song “My Boyfriend Dick” where she praises it to be big and tall among others has been taken to the Katikkiro of Buganda to endorse her show🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢

The contrast is striking😩😩especially considering that the same Katikkiro has often taken a stand against such content from Ugandan artists like Gravity and Pazzo. But when it’s Spice, perhaps because she’s Jamaican who curses in patois, it suddenly seems acceptable.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞: The National Bank of Rwanda has successfully completed a 5-month Proof of Concept(PoC) for a potential Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), the e-Franc Rwandais (e-FRW).

The PoC marks an important milestone in #Rwanda’s journey toward a more digital, resilient and inclusive financial system. It involved close collaboration with commercial banks, payment service providers, fintech innovators and key public institutions.
