ᅠ
Tardif remained calm as he continued to clean her cheeks. Under the cowl he smiled.
ᅠ
❝ Highly? I think of you all the time every fleeting moment. ❞
ᅠ
He replied so calmly in that voice.

ᅠ
Trembling sigh escape her lips as the warmth from his skin touches hers, she has long for this...

“ You have thought of me too highly. ”

Holding the back of his hand, she turn to place a soft kiss on the palm, slowly, deliberately taking her time.
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
A soft snort was given upon her comment of being stubborn. Shifting to take off his gloves and his bare hand shifting to wipe her cheeks of tears.
ᅠ
" Mere human like the rest of us. I beg to differ that you are stubborn. More straight razor than a thief's blade. "

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
“ I do think I am for stubbornly getting mad at you. ”

The faintest sobs coming out of her, pathetic, really. Where did she left her dignity of the fiercest woman in town?

Apparently nowhere.

“ Welcome back. ”
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
Letting go softly sad he directed his gaze into her own - a soft nod. A hand rose and paused as it moved to shift back downward.
ᅠ
❝ No, you never were. ❞
ᅠ
Is what he responded.
ᅠ

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
She simply lean into his body, already letting go— partially. Hands tightly grabs on his sleeves rather than his clothes.

“ Are you not going to call me insufferable too? ”

It was more of a statement, not a question.
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
" M'trying to get better at it ... "
ᅠ
He replied softly yet with that accursed growl in his voice. His grip has loosen but did not falter. Has this entire time been his fault? He wondered.
ᅠ

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
“ ... You are insufferable. ”

She whispers, small and weak, unlike the woman who fought until the last of her sanity drops, who constantly purrs at any attention fanning her way.

Broken, hollow, and yet she stands, holding him close still.
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
A soft exhale escaped his lips beneath the cowl as he held her still. Eyes under the helm looking at the ground.
ᅠ
He too did ponder the same as well.
ᅠ

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
Hands clinging to his attire, unwilling to let go just yet, nuzzle her own face into his shoulder.

For how long will she be able to have this chance?

That is another thing to ponder about later...
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
He embraced her as tight as he could as he rested his head on her shoulder. Should she have been mad at him - he forgave her there.
ᅠ
Still not a word from Tardif.
ᅠ

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
Stubborn— yet those tears still fallen off her face.

A hug, loosely but not too much, also a silent rebel against him.
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
Kinda just opens his arms.
ᅠ
Silent apology?
ᅠ

[✝• ɢʀǟʋɛ ʀօɮɮɛʀ •✝ @Filthy_R1ch]

ᅠ
He lied

And yet she forgives him, again and again
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
He's still scared to greet or say anything to her. Just gonna read his paper and think of a plan. Silence and in thought.
ᅠ

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

He's scared he broke his promise.

[ƈօʍɛ ɦɨȶɦɛʀ @COMEHITH3R]

ᅠ
Shifting to let himself go from the hug and stretch a bit. Hearing her name, he gazed at him before at the ground.
ᅠ
❝ Ay' she would kill me. ❞

A loose hug given and a few pats on his back. Eyes looking away underneath his helm.
