A minimal timeline design from a personal proposal deck I'm working on. Items at the top are events which involve the client, bottom is tasks I complete myself

My favourite way to improve is to find designers that make cool shit. Copy that cool shit, try different methods of achieving that cool shit, tweak that cool shit into your own cool shit.
This teaches you the process and decisions made in order to create cool shit.

What's the context of your products?
Where are people using it?
Why would they need to use it?
How are they feeling when they do use it?
Tailor your product not only to your customers, but the context of their lives.
