Speaking after a brief appreciation ceremony for her, Retired Officer Beverley Burke said “I learned a lot about the law while in the Force and it was an honour to have served my country for 25 years.”

Thank you for your service retired Officer Beverley Burke! She was given a formal send off last week Friday (December 03, 2021) and presented with a plaque to commemorate her 25 years of service.

Some of the Police Stations Burke has been posted at include Sandy Point, Tabernacle, Stapleton, St. Paul’s, Basseterre, and most recently Dieppe Bay. She wants young officers to know that no dream is too big and is encouraging them to strive higher to achieve their goals.

In addition to noting his appreciation for the acknowledgement of his contribution, ACP Browne also stated that it was a sign of commendation for all involved as well.

The United States (U.S.) Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has acclaimed Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) McCarta Browne for his tremendous involvement with the Caribbean Firearms Initiative.
