The quite famous, by now, image of the tube of some kind, hanging from Charlie's body, as he was carried out from the scene.

Lately, since this image has become well known, many claimed that it was just his chain.
So, I decided to do this very high zoom in, with added graphics, to show with 100% certainty that it was NOT a chain.

Charlie's chain had links that were all parallel, and also at the right angle to the edge.
And furthermore, each link was large enough to be seen easily.

When on this image, even with such a magnification, not a single link can be identified.
The only thing that is visible is the pattern of grid lines of the image itself, that changes its direction with the change of the curve.
The pants of the guy who was carrying him, also do have the same grid pattern, as shown.

So, I hope this will end all the debate about what this object was.
This is definitely a hose of some kind. Do not let anyone tell you it was a chain.
