When the third test was given, the average score was 4. To the great surprise of all the students, they all failed.

The teacher told them that socialism will eventually fail because when half the population sees that they cannot work, because the other half will take care of them, and when the half that worked realizes that there is no point in working anymore, because others are the beneficiaries of their labor, then that is the end of any nation

I worked hard for over 40 odd years , I need a rant for just a moment. I'm getting old and I’ve worked hard all my life. I have made my reputation, the good and the bad, I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I have worked hard to get where I am in life. I have juggled my job, my family, and made many sacrifices up front to secure a life for my family. It wasn’t always easy and still isn't, but I did it all while maintaining my integrity and my principles. I made mistakes and tried to learn from them. I have friends of every walk of life and if you’re in my circle, it should be understood that I don’t have to remind you of what I’d be willing to do for you.

However....

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. People who have sacrificed nothing and feel entitled to receive everything.

I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it themselves.

I'm really tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which, no one is allowed to debate.

I'm really tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talk like their opinions matter to the common man. I’m tired of any of them even pretending they can relate to the life and bank account that I have.

I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I’m upset that I’m labeled as a racist because I am proud of my heritage. I never stole any ones land, the government did that..

I’m tired of being told I need to accept the latest fad or politically correct stupidity or befriending a group that’s intent on killing me because I won’t convert to their point of view.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. Especially the ones that want me to fund it. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I'm really tired. But, I'm also glad to be in the twilight of my life. Because mostly, I'm not going to have to see the retched, depressing world these useless idiots are creating and lastly, because even though I shouted from the rooftops, no one listened or seemed to give a damn.

Dear Prime Minister Albanese,

Let’s get one thing clear: women are adult human females. You know it, I know it, you even said it in the lead up to the last election when asked “what is a woman” by Piers Morgan.

But we have a big problem.

I’m sure you have heard, last week, the Federal Court delivered its judgment in Giggle v Tickle, the “what is a woman” legal case that has been fighting in federal court for the past four years. To put it very simply, there are two sides to this case: women, adult human females, who want to ensure that woman is a single-sex category in law and women & girls have access to single sex spaces. The other side, which includes your human rights commission, insists that men who claim to be women are women in the eyes of the law. The full Federal Court sided with the man who claims to be a woman. Yes. A male won the “what is a woman” court case. Giggle v Tickle has turned Australia into an international laughing stock.

This decision is seismic. It means women cannot run women-only businesses for women. It confirms that the ordinary meaning of sex has been twisted beyond recognition. It means men can be women in law. The Australian Human Rights Commission, captured by ideology, has weaponised the sex discrimination act against women, the very demographic it was enacted to protect. They’ve even argued in court that men who claim to be women need pregnancy protections. They’ve pushed the view that sex is a spectrum, changeable, and that anyone objecting is the bigot. Is this something you agree with? Do you, Mr Prime Minister, think men need pregnancy protections in the law?

And there are real-world stakes here: Girls at school are holding their bladders all day, refusing to drink water, because boys who claim to be girls are in their bathrooms and they don’t want them there. Women prisoners are locked in cells with male sex offenders who simply “identify” as women. Female athletes are losing podiums, matches and safety. This isn’t inclusion - it’s the demise of women’s rights.

Prime Minister, some of your ministers say, “we need to protect trans rights”. With all due respect, sir, your government can protect so called trans rights without stripping rights from women and girls. Every other citizen manages to exist without demanding access to the opposite sex’s protected spaces. Why not try to get “trans rights” without destroying the rights of women and girls? Have you ever even tried? 

The fact that Labor hasn’t even mentioned Giggle v Tickle and women’s rights - while Liberals, Nationals, and One Nation politicians speak out - tells us everything. This week has been silence from the Labor Party. No trans visibility day parades on this one. No pride posts. Why? What don’t you want Australians to know?

You boast about your 50 per cent women in cabinet. Good for you - you can accurately recognise what a woman is when it suits you. But the rest of us aren’t allowed to without fear of punishment. And can I ask, if you filled that cabinet with 50 per cent trans women, would you still call it equality between men and women? Think about that.

While the UK, the United States and even New Zealand are waking up, rolling back the nonsense and restoring sanity and realizing that gender ideology is a failed experiment, your government is turning Australia into the laughing stock of the world. “Giggle v Tickle” isn’t just a punchline overseas - it’s proof Australia is upside down.

I want to tell you something really important: If you will lie about something as obvious as men being women, we can assume you will look us in the eye and lie about everything. 

Tell the truth. Fix the Sex Discrimination Act. Reinstate clear biological, accurate definitions of man and woman. Protect women, girls and single-sex spaces. Actually do something.

Because, at the moment, Mister Prime Minister, I’m doing your job for you.

Mark Rutte leads the most powerful military alliance on earth. He just looked directly into the camera and said what Germany, France, and Britain have been carefully avoiding saying out loud.

𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀.

He laid out exactly why. Iran's nuclear capability and ballistic missile program pose an existential threat to Israel. A direct threat to the entire region. A threat to Europe. A threat to the whole world. The NATO Secretary General — the man whose entire job is the collective security of the Western alliance — is saying that what Trump is doing is not optional. It is necessary.

This matters enormously. Rutte is not a Trump ally. He is not an American. He is the head of an institution that has been repeatedly criticized, pressured, and threatened by Trump over burden-sharing. He has every political incentive to hedge, equivocate, and issue carefully worded statements that satisfy nobody and offend nobody. Instead he praised the president's leadership on camera — directly, without qualification.

The contrast with European heads of government is stark. Keir Starmer said it was "not a NATO mission." Germany said it was "not our war." France wouldn't send its aircraft carrier. They applaud the outcome while refusing to share the burden — and they won't even say publicly what their own alliance chief is saying privately and now publicly.

Rutte knows the truth that Europe's elected leaders are too politically cautious to admit: the Iranian nuclear program was not a problem that was going to solve itself through diplomacy, sanctions, and strongly worded UN resolutions. Seven American presidents tried that approach. The centrifuges kept spinning. The missiles kept improving. The proxies kept k!lling.

Trump did what needed to be done. The head of NATO just confirmed it.

Iran just fired missiles at five countries simultaneously. Here is what actually happened to each of them.

Bahrain. Confirmed hit on the US Navy Fifth Fleet headquarters. Bahrain’s own state news agency reported the strike. No casualty figures released yet. This is the command center for every American naval operation in the Persian Gulf. It was struck.

UAE. Multiple missiles intercepted by Emirati air defenses. One civilian killed in Abu Dhabi from falling debris. The UAE defense ministry confirmed the intercepts. The Emirates just absorbed an act of war on its sovereign territory from a country it shares a maritime border with.

Qatar. Missile intercepted. Zero damage. The Qatari Interior Ministry confirmed. The same country Iran just attacked is the country that hosted Al Udeid for twenty years as a gesture of regional balance. That balance ended this morning.

Kuwait. KUNA state news agency confirmed missiles were “dealt with” in Kuwaiti airspace. No reported damage. Kuwait, which stayed neutral through every Gulf crisis since 1991, just had Iranian ballistic missiles flying over its cities.

Jordan. Two Iranian ballistic missiles shot down by Jordanian military. Confirmed by the Jordanian armed forces directly. Jordan intercepted Iranian missiles in June 2025 as well. That was in defense of Israel. This time Iran targeted Jordan itself.

Saudi Arabia. Fars News claims strikes. No confirmation from any Saudi source. No Tier 1 or Tier 2 verification. Either it did not happen or Riyadh is not yet ready to say it did. Both possibilities carry enormous implications.

Now understand what Iran just accomplished strategically. In attempting to retaliate against Israel and America, the IRGC fired missiles at six sovereign nations in a single morning. Not one of those nations attacked Iran. Bahrain did not bomb Tehran. The UAE did not launch strikes on Isfahan. Qatar hosted diplomatic back channels. Kuwait maintained neutrality for three decades. Jordan was mediating.

Iran just converted every neutral and semi-neutral state in the Gulf into a potential co-belligerent. Every nation whose airspace was violated, whose civilians were killed, whose sovereignty was breached now has legal and political justification to join whatever coalition forms next.

And the damage tells the real story. One civilian dead from debris. Intercepts across four countries. No confirmed destruction of any US military asset. No reported American casualties among 40,000 troops in theater. Iran fired at the entire Gulf and the Gulf caught almost everything.

Compare this to what Israel did to Tehran this morning. Precision strikes on the IRGC Intelligence Directorate. Explosions near the Supreme Leader’s office. Three detonations in central Tehran confirmed by Iranian state media itself.

One side hit what it aimed at. The other side hit one civilian with debris.

This is the asymmetry that will define the next 72 hours. Iran demonstrated intent to strike everywhere and capability to hit almost nothing. The Gulf states demonstrated they can defend themselves. And now those states must decide whether the country that just fired ballistic missiles across their borders gets to do it again.

They will not let it happen again.

Watch for the joint statement. Watch for airspace coordination between Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Manama, and Kuwait City. Watch for the coalition that Iran just built against itself with a single salvo.

Iran did not retaliate against Israel this morning. Iran gave every country in the Middle East a reason to retaliate against Iran.

In 1959, Fidel Castro promised to redistribute Cuba's wealth and create equality for all. Within a decade, the island that once exported sugar and cigars to the world couldn't even keep its own lights on. The wealthy fled, but instead of their riches trickling down to the poor, everyone just became equally poor together.

The revolucionarios had calculated that seizing the means of production would mean seizing prosperity itself. What they discovered instead was that prosperity isn't sitting in some vault waiting to be redistributed—it's created daily by millions of voluntary exchanges, investments, and entrepreneurial risks. When you abolish those mechanisms, you don't redistribute wealth; you redistribute poverty.

Today's politicians make the same mathematical error Castro did: they see inequality and assume it represents a fixed pie that just needs better slicing. They never ask why some pies grow while others shrink, or why the countries promising equality most loudly seem to deliver scarcity most efficiently.

The cruel irony is that the only truly "equal" outcome socialism reliably produces is making everyone equally worse off than they started.

As shadow First Australians I want to give title deeds and market gardens on community lands so they can own their homes, start businesses and grow food.
