The Trump administration is gutting dozens of gun safety rules—rolling back background checks and weakening laws that keep illegal guns off our streets.
While American families and neighborhoods continue to be terrorized by gun violence, this administration is choosing the gun lobby over our safety.

Donald Trump’s brazen disrespect for our Constitution is a direct assault on our democracy.
We are a nation of laws, not one man’s ego.
From the great Edith Pritchett @edithcartoons @postcartoons
There are so many more heroes than we know.
So much more good than gets reported.
So much more kindness, decency, and love than we realize.
Let us spread more of it.
And even when if the world tries to deny it, I believe love will prevail.

This is the very definition of corruption. President Trump’s sons, Eric and Don Jr., are tied to at least ten defense firms that have raked in $3.7 BILLION in federal contracts since his second term began. We cannot normalize this grift. America deserves better than the Pentagon serving as a Trump Family ATM.

The Trump administration terminated over $820 million in public safety grants— designed to combat rural crime, support anti-terrorism efforts, officer wellness and gun violence prevention programs— all while imposing unnecessary ideological tests that are scaring away applicants.
Our safety shouldn’t be a political football. Americans deserve better.
Our food system is already broken, now the Trump administration is making it worse by prioritizing corporate greed over our health. The administration gutted regulations — and then pushed a USDA reorganization that relocated thousands of workers, disrupting food safety programs.
This hurts family farms that invested in humane practices, while rewarding factory farms and making all our food riskier. We must stand up protect small farmers, and demand real food safety.

For years, I’ve fought to give every single American child a Baby Bond — a real foundation of wealth that grows with them.
Now those accounts are live.
This is how we redeem the American Dream. not just for some, but for every family, every child, and every future.
Trump’s claims about birthright citizenship are a betrayal of everything America stands for.
Birthright citizenship is the 14th Amendment’s sacred promise — written in the blood of the Civil War — that every single child born on American soil is an American. Full stop. No “except for…” No asterisks. No division. This is who we are.

New financial disclosures show President Trump made over $2 BILLION in his first year back in the White House—while hardworking Americans paid the price for his chaotic tariffs and reckless wars.
He's turned the presidency into a personal cash machine for himself and his family. We must significantly reform our government to prevent this kind of corruption and grift.

We can fight hard, like hell, punch with power and still show our strength by honoring and respecting to others.
Never let someone drag you so low that you loose your strength of spirit.

Trump's DOJ is locking up Americans for simply touching peeling paint in his failing $14M Reflecting Pool disaster.
But the January 6th insurrectionists who stormed our Capitol, attacked police, and tried to overthrow our democracy? They get a pass.
This isn’t justice.

One of the most emotional moments following the powerful earthquakes in Venezuela involved Tsunami, a rescue dog who was seen receiving intravenous fluids after spending several consecutive days working through the rubble. Exhausted, he was treated by the rescue team shortly after completing another mission to search for survivors.
Before becoming one of the country’s leading rescue dogs, Tsunami was a victim of abuse and abandonment. After being rescued, he underwent years of training and eventually earned international certification to take part in search-and-rescue operations in disaster-hit areas.
During the earthquakes in Venezuela, Tsunami helped locate around 13 people alive beneath the rubble. The treatment shown in the video marked the end of his fieldwork and the beginning of his retirement, closing a remarkable journey dedicated to saving lives.
On this 4th of July, we honor the unbreakable love of those who fought for a just nation even when it didn't love them back.
As Langston Hughes said "America never was America to me—and yet I swear this oath—America will be!"

I, too, sing America.
I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I’ll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody’ll dare
Say to me,
“Eat in the kitchen,”
Then.
Besides,
They’ll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed—
I, too, am America.
— Langston Hughes, “I, Too,” 1926
