Strengthening Voices in Global Health Innovation. Mr. Edna Tembo, COWLHA's Executive Director attended the Stakeholders Meeting on the use of Artificial Intelligence tools for cervix visualization in cervical cancer screening and treatment from 25-27March 2026 in Kigali, Rwanda.
COWLHA is attending a partner meeting for Youth Wise Project in Mombasa, Kenya. Other partners include AYARHEP, Y+ Kenya, Y+ Global, Y+ Malawi and Aidsfonds.
COWLHA oriented health care providers from facilities around Mangochi and Mzimba DHO and later on linked them with COWLHA expert clients who are mobilizing communities especially household contacts and children to access TPT (3HP)
On June 16, 2023, COWLHA distributed maize flour & soya pieces to young people in support groups affected by Cyclone Freddy from Mangochi and Chikwawa. A total of 221 households were reached. Aidsfonds from Netherlands supported the initiative with £10,000.

COWLHA conducted review and planning meeting with health care providers at Mbulumbuzi Health Centre in Chiradzulu on piloting of CAGs on 15th June, 2023.

COWLHA is now into second year of Youthwise Project implementation. In Year 2 of implementation, COWLAH has trained young people from support groups as Commnity Based Distribution Agents (CBDAs) and will also be conducting SRHR outreach clinics.
COWLAH in collaboration with Treatment Action Group is currently implementing a project in Mzimba North and Mangochi. The projects aims at sensitizing communities about TB preventive therapy (3HP and 1HP).
COWLHA distributed maize and soya pieces to 1403 young people in support groups affected by floods in Chikwawa, TA Ngabu and TA Lundu on 18th March, 2022. The initiative was supported by Aidsfonds from Netherlands.
