"I have some concerns when we talk about using masks in the general public" - @hollyseale from the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at @UNSW tells @bevvo14 misusing certain equipment can present more risks in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic... #TheWorld
Absolutely. We need our nurse leaders to make visible the valuable contribution nurses and nursing make & to express our full scope and capability.
I would love to hear from the chief nurse of Australia with regards to Covid-19 at one of the prime minister press conference to at least show the government is actually considering nurses who deliver 95% of patient treatment and care. @ScottMorrisonMP @GregHuntMP @Leanne_Boase
10 days ago we introduced the concept of a “wobble room” where staff could go for a few mins to share worries, say it out loud, have a little cry/shout/scream or just sit quietly
They’ve totally owned this and allocate a clinic room each day.
Where’s your wobble room?

Big congratulations to Dr Benjamin Mackie @BenjaminMackie who has been conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy for his thesis “Exploring patient and family centred care in hospitals”. Supervisors: @AndreaM_au & #ProfMarionMitchell
Ok...So just finished at my first ProPEL conference. Who’d have thought that presenters and attendees could manage to time keep their own session? Really innovative approach. Great idea. #ProPEL2019UTS#ResponsibleConferencing
Just had my mind blown at keynote presentation by Stephen Kemmis on practice theory. Wrestling with how I’ve come to know what I know...such a dilemma for the start of the day!! #ProPEL2019UTS#PracticeTheory#StephenKemmis
Margaret Somerville - presenting sustainability beyond that of a veggie patch. Love it! Taking us into a thought experiment on considering sustainability into our practitioner roles. #ProPEL2019UTS#PlanetaryWellbeing
