This happened to my brother, wrongfully convicted of CSC and served 15 years (paroled 2025). He studied law 13 yrs and filed appeals but courts couldn't get past a "confession letter" (2 pgs were visibly altered-not his writing; judge denied handwriting expert) and consent defense (coerced by conflicted defense counsel). Case dispositive DNA results were unilaterally sealed by prosecutor and withheld from my brother/defense 5 mos before trial, sealed coincidentally 5 days after rejecting plea offer. The jurors/nor brother knew DNA exclusion existed. He discovered this last year when DNA FOIA'd reported no male DNA on any evidence samples. ....only single source DNA. The "confession letter" and consent defense were advanced after DNA exclusion was known by prosecutor......prosecutor also steered consent defense (have evidence). Both confession letter/consent defense were legally invalid b/c the science proved no assault happened. Appeals Courts and Sixth Circuit relied on legally invalid arguments that the science disproved yet denied relief. He's filed a brilliant pro se motion requesting court to vacate conviction based on whole host of due process/Brady violations, altered charging docs (fraud on the court), and requesting equal protection as the courts have twice exonerated for the same DNA scenario. Court appears to be slow walking this motion, however. The state's Conviction Integrity Unit supposedly assigned an attorney to review but they've been silent far too long. #wrongfulconviction @CivilRights@xoner8ed

First time attendee w/my brother. What an amazing conference! So happy he was able to meet others & begin building a support base.
His was a no-crime wrongful conviction, suppressed DNA (single source profile) + Fraud on the Court + IAC. Freed, not yet exonerated. Waiting on Judge to vacate conviction.
@SimonaMangiante Yes! ! This happened to my brother. Prosecutor hid case dispositive DNA results (single source female, no male DNA). He served 15 years in prison, released in 2025, He FOIA'd DNA lab reports only to find him excluded. Fighting for exoneration in 2026. 100% fabricated!!

Happy New Year 🎆
TY for the powerful Duke lacrosse montage-it brought tears. My brother endured 15 yrs in Michigan prison for a false assault: withheld DNA results (he FOIA'd in 2025) were single-source female, NO male (no crime). Convicted despite misconduct-altered court docs, "confess" letter/denied handwriting expert, sealed DNA reports, prosecutor knew defense 2 mos before defendant, ineffective counsel (hid pending license suspension+more). Now lifetime ankle tether, fighting pro se. MI CIU silent 5 mos. cc'd DOJ-Civil Rights as FYI-but no reply @HarmeetKDhillon. If only he had a @StephenMiller45 in his corner.
False accusations and misconduct can destroy lives despite exonerating evidence.
@Cointelegraph 🥳 My plan: 1. Give thanks 🙏 2. Hire top attorney to exonerate my brother (no crime wrongfully convicted) ⚖️ 3. Teach him about crypto & invest together 📈 4. Invest a bit for myself 💰 5. HODL the rest 🚀 #Bitcoin#Freedom#Investing
@JustinoBrooks This happened to my brother in 2010. (No crime) wrongful conviction in Mich. Served 15 yrs. FOIA'd DNA frm MSP crime lab results scientifically excluded him (single source DNA of complainant). Brady; due process violations; pros & judicial misconduct; ineff counsel.
