In response to our questions, a VA spokesperson said “Between December 2020 and December 2025, 53 cases of myocarditis were identified among over 5.6 million VHA-enrolled Veterans who received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. Veterans are eligible for service connection if myocarditis develops during active duty…”

A Department of War official said DoW “is making reinstatement available to all members of the military (active and reserve components) who were discharged solely for refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and who request to be reinstated. The Department has reached out to the 8,700 Service members who were unjustly separated to apologize, offer information on reinstatement, and encourage them to rejoin the military.”

“As of May 2026, more than 200 former Service members who were discharged under the now-rescinded COVID-19 vaccination mandate have been reinstated or re-accessed. The Services are actively tracking more than 800 additional former Service members who have expressed interest in rejoining the military.”

Asked about the high rejection rate, the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program did not respond.

He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act and was sentenced to 12 months and one day in federal prison (serving approximately seven months) plus fines totaling around $52,500 for him and his business.

This case exemplifies the weaponization of federal regulations against American workers and small businesses. Instead of focusing on genuine environmental threats, the Biden DOJ and EPA went after a mechanic trying to provide affordable, practical repairs for farmers, truckers, and essential service vehicles. Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) highlighted how Lake was simply “keeping diesel engines in school buses, ambulances and fire trucks running in our tough western weather.”

During a recent Wisconsin agriculture roundtable, President Trump spotlighted the pardon, using it to illustrate the absurdity of overreaching Democrat regulations that punish everyday Americans for basic vehicle maintenance and repairs. California Democrats have increased regulatory costs to grow lettuce 1,400%

New data shows groceries are getting more expensive is because farming is getting more expensive

A Cal Poly study tracked the regulatory costs of a California lettuce farm

- In 2006, it was $109 an acre
- Today, it's more than $1,600 an acre
- That's a 1,400% increase in regulatory costs

I looked more into this and it’s absolutely correct

The study tracked a large scale commercial lettuce grower in the Salinas Valley across 2006, 2017, and 2024

2006: Regulatory compliance costs = $109.15 per acre (about 1.26% of total production costs)

2017: Rose to $977 per acre (795% increase from 2006; 8.9% of production costs)

2024: $1,600+ per acre (63.7% increase from 2017; 1,366% overall increase since 2006; now 12.6% of total production costs).

The state produces 70% of US lettuce
