The countrywide sensitisation of manufacturers under #URAUMATaxClinics is still ongoing, and we are at Lake View Resort Hotel, Mbarara.

The South Western Uganda Regional Manager for Domestic Taxes Service Management, Peter Twesigamukama’s message is clear: stop paying more in agent fees than necessary by acquiring knowledge through such trainings.

“With partnerships like UMA, URA is working to reach every taxpayer with simple, clear guidance on what to pay, when to pay, and how. This is a voluntary assessment regime designed to make compliance easier for your business, but enforcement remains for those who choose not to comply,” he added.

We appeal to taxpayers to take advantage of this support. As URA, we shall continue to create an enabling, transparent, and business-friendly environment. Together, we can build a system that works for everyone.
