So what disproportionately benefits from a coordinated government/regulatory attack on miners/exchanges?
- #DeFi, especially DEX's
- Miners in other jurisdictions
- Censorship resistance storage / archiving (i.e. Arweave)
- Self storage/wallets
- and of course $BTC
Leverage really tanking things. Seems like it's been a negative factor for just about everyone. Just part of the deal now. All will be well in time. #Bitcoin
Yep @jchervinsky—a group of institutional/#bitcoin investors had this very convo yest. The derivatives-driven volatility not only gives SEC an excuse as u say, but it increases cost of capital for the ecosystem &delays its mainstreaming. Prob no way to stop the crazy leverage tho
@ksicrypto Seems to be the way. In my eyes, everything aside from BTC and ETH are risky long-term. Narrative of Ethereum becoming "ultra sound" money makes me wonder if there will be competition between the two, however. Going to be so interesting watching it all play out over the years.
The Fed will now go to war with Bitcoin because they can’t use it to finance wars around the globe, or to bailout the companies of people who lost yachts in the recession.
