I just met with the staff for Ways & Means, Senate Finance, Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Lummis, Rep. LaHood, and Majority Whip Tom Emmer.

Crypto taxes are a priority in DC, but we need to keep pushing.

For the US to be the crypto capitol of the world we need to fix taxes!

We could generate billions in crypto tax revenue from people who want to pay.
They’re not hiding. They’re confused and scared of getting crushed for mistakes.

1099-DA Forms are putting the crypto industry in a terrible position: comply perfectly or risk penalties.
There’s a solution: a Crypto Voluntary Disclosure Program.

Let people come forward, pay tax + a manageable penalty, and move on.
In the past, a voluntary disclosure program allowed people to come forward, report their assets, pay a small penalty and tax, and move on. We need the same type of program for the crypto industry.

Unfair tax rules are driving bitcoin miners and crypto stakeholders out of the US, and to our enemies.

But with simple and fair changes, we can keep them here and drive more money into the U.S. economy.

Civilization as we know it is always on the line, when there is an American presidential election. The person controls an arsenal sufficient to eliminate most of humanity. That person’s words can affect global markets, international trade, and armed conflicts, regardless of what the Cabinet, Congress, or the Judiciary does. That person, however, could not impose “communism.” So who is better suited to, before speaking or writing, think through what effects their words as POTUS will have on civilization?

@wholemars What if acumen as to technological innovation and advancement doesn’t translate to acumen with social sciences or geopolitics? Also, people are listening and responding to the substance of his comments. He is being judged on that substance.

There are no citations to the new law, Dr. Cass’s report, or the legislation in Great Britain. If the representations of what has happened are accurate, then the author can and should cite authoritative sources. The tweet is neither important nor informative. It is not an attempt
to inform readers of facts. It’s an attempt to use misleading and incomplete information as a basis to adopt the author’s opinion.

@Apple what’s worse than having your Apple Vision Pro stolen while traveling cross country to your dad’s 75th birthday (where I was eager to show him some
Immersive Videos)? It’s finding out that FindMy doesn’t work with AVP and that Apple offers no help in tracking or retrieving their most high tech item. Worse yet, your troubleshooting page inaccurately points to FindMy as the solution. I’m a very disappointed early adopter and @Apple loyalist. A simple airtag could’ve prevented this $4K loss—if @Apple had simply warned me that the AVP
lacks the safety tech of my dozen other and less expensive @Apple tech. #downhill #apple #burnedbyapple

Finding out that AVP doesn’t work on Find My, that Apple’s support page inaccurately instructs that lost AVPs should be tracked by FindMy, and that @Apple would offer no support or recourse whatsoever. Needless to say, being loyal @Apple customer and early adopter has burned me.

@BarackObama The legal road to Brown v. Board helped inspire me to become a litigator. But I now worry whether SCOTUS today would reassess whether “separate” is inherently “unequal.”
