Pumpkin decorating contest to raise money for the Stephanie D. Mason Aspiring Educator Scholarship.
Each class decorated a pumpkin and students voted on which pumpkin they liked the best. Thank you to our PTO for providing the pumpkins.

Students are studying about the brightness of the sun and why it appears so much brighter to us than other stars. To help with this understanding, they are exploring how brightness changes with distance using flashlights and rulers.
Our photography club is experimenting with stop Motion animation —a cinematographic technique where the camera is repeatedly stopped and started, to give animated figures the impression of movement. #tnloveslearning#wearercstn

5th grade students have been studying motion. To wrap up the unit, they did research on Newton’s Laws of Motion and worked with groups following the Engineering Design Process to create their own Newton’s Cradle.
