🐰 This past weekend, our Tactical Unit, the Calgary Police Youth Foundation @CPFYYC & @CNIB welcomed local families for another year of EGG-cellent fun at the Accessible Easter Egg Hunt.

👮‍♀️ Officers hid special 3D-printed beeping eggs, making it possible for 50 children with sight loss to fully take part in this Easter tradition. Each child received a colourful basket & families enjoyed a petting zoo, games & plenty of hoppy moments together. 🥚

💕 We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for a day filled with joy, laughter & inclusive play.

🏒 The Calgary Flames Alumni hosted their seventh annual Christmas Toy Drive in partnership with the Calgary Police Youth Foundation @CPFYYC

On Christmas Eve, the Flames Alumni, alongside our officers, delivered toys, grocery cards & gift hampers to 28 families handpicked by the Calgary Police Youth Foundation to help make their holiday season truly special. ✨

🚓 District 4 officers partnered with the Calgary Police Youth Foundation @CPFYYC on Dec. 20, 2025, for the Immigrant Outreach Society’s annual Spreading Love Initiative, providing gifts to 140 children from deserving families.

🎁 Officers handed out presents & spoke with the youth about safety & community resources & we’re grateful for the opportunity to help create a joyful holiday experience for these families.

We have continued to receive reports of scammers pretending to be Calgary Police Service officers & asking people to send money or pay fines over the phone. These illegitimate requests include transferring money to protect compromised accounts as well as paying fines. In some of these cases, scammers have used technology to make it look like they are calling from legitimate Calgary Police Service numbers, including those of our district offices.

The CPS will never call & ask for financial information or money, for any reason.

We have also received a report of a scammer asking for donations on behalf of the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. Currently, the @cpfyyc is not conducting any phone campaigns to solicit donations.
