Former #WhiteSox Scott Podsednik will be at the Baseball Card King in Downers Grove on Saturday, June 10th from 7-9pm signing autographs! $20 each or 5 for $89.
For anyone wanting to see it, you can check it out on YouTube on the Savannah Bananas page. He pitched the top of the 6th for a whole 1:35. He's up in the booth top of 8th.
@radiodraude@Zigmanfreud Yes. (1) 1st, (3) 3rd, (1) 4th, (1) 5th & (1) 10th.
Starts in in the back of all races, looks for his path and comes through the traffic fast at the end. The traffic is his test. If he can get around it, he is golden, but if he is held up, he wears down.
@Zigmanfreud Not at all. I'm saying it's unfair to them that he was such a late add. Only 79 bet him to win. If he has been on the card longer, more would have been known about him and there likely would have been more talking about him. As it was, he was a complete unknown.
@Zigmanfreud Here is Rich Strike breaking his maiden at Churchill Downs as a 10-1 (#1). Had he been on the card longer, I doubt he would have been 80-1.

@Zigmanfreud Because people that know horse racing saw how fast that one went off and the ariel view showed how clear a path Rich Strike had to the front. Insanely clear. The pack went wide, leaving the inside all to Rich Strike alone. And nice to have a Baffert (sorta) free race.
I was seriously just wondering were all the Curlin blood had gone in the horse pedigrees as Candy Ride was in a bunch this year. Rich Strike is a Curlin grandson. He and the Tapit boys should be fun to watch at the Belmont. #KyDerby
