Keeping the tradition alive and celebrating my birthday this year with a minimum of 33 hours! ✨
We’ve got some fun things planned for this event — make sure to stop by! 💜
Consider all of your bad decisions part of your personal education. They are mistakes that you were meant to make in order to become a better version of yourself. When viewed this way, you will not only save yourself a lot of suffering, you will set yourself up to someday really become something (even if that something is simply someone who's really good at making bad decisions).
In life, you find what you're looking for. If you're looking for a reason to dislike someone, that's easily done. If you're looking for reasons to be happy, you'll find plenty. And, if you're looking for a reason to be offended or upset, allow me to introduce you to the Internet.
Don't let what happens to you make you into someone you despise or no longer recognize. Rather, decide who you want to be—then, ruthlessly design and maintain your life accordingly. Because shit will happen, plans will fail, and people will fuck you over, but with a strong sense of who you are (or want to be), you can find purpose in nearly every form of pain, heartache, or uncertainty.
I'd rather take relationship advice from someone who's been divorced and found love again. I'd rather take business advice from someone who's failed and still succeeded. I'd rather take financial advice from someone who's lost it all and managed to make it back. Losers are my kind of people—as long as they use their losses to gain perspective and not as excuses to remain defeated.
Until you're okay with being disliked for being yourself, get used to being disappointed with your life. Because you will always feel like nothing is ever enough if you achieve it by being something you're fucking not.
