😺 Let's end the week with a wildlife rehab success story!
On Wednesday, we released this bobcat back into the wild in the San Luis Valley after it came to CPW's Frisco Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center last year as an orphaned kitten.
We want to thank the landowner who originally acted to save this animal only after it was clear there was no mom in the area. We also want to thank our private rehab partner who first took it in and coordinated with CPW to give it the best possible chance to return to a wild life

Hello, old friend.
We recently released 5 oprhaned bear cubs back into the wild after a roughly 8-month stay at our Frisco Creek Rehabilitation Center.
One made some news in Durango last August when it was chased by humans and entered a restaurant through an open back door.
