Today is First Responders Day ☤
Whether it's police officers, firefighters, first responders, or 911 dispatchers, many dedicated Canadians work long hours, and often in difficult conditions, to make sure that when someone's in need, they can help.
Not all hero’s wear capes ❤️
Non- profit organization are already hurting for equipment and if the government does this to paramedic services it is going to hurt non profit organizations .
What’s everyone’s opinion on this?
There is intent to move 52 ambulances to 10!!
Other provinces provide their services province wide and completely integrated into hospitals.
None profit organizations (ie; St. John Ambulance) will hurt because of decisions like this.
David is a cardiac arrest survivor who came to visit us today and present us with this picture which he has titled “coming undone”. A powerful picture signifying how his life came undone, and was tied back together by our skilled Paramedics. #honoured#survivor#learnCPR
I started volunteering with St John Ambulance a few weeks ago. I learned about oxygen and different breathing interventions. I’m currently watching medical shows, and I just watched the doctors put a non rebreather onto a hyperventilating patient and it is bugging me 🙃
If finding my glasses frame the first time wasn’t difficult enough, now I gotta go look again because my kid broke them and they can’t be fixed and they don’t make those frames anymore 🙃
Pro tip: When a person tells you that they had to change their number because they didn’t feel safe, do not tell them they should have been smarter about their dating decisions. Do not tell them to be better behaved.
It is never their fault.
Victim blaming is never the answer.
why do we capitalize the beginning of a new sentence? doesn't the punctuation tell of the previous sentence is complete? (deep thoughts by jack handy) for that matter why do we capitalize names?
It’s #PiDay, as dates are often reckoned in the US. How much fun it will be on 3.14 at 3 pm and 9 minutes 29 1/2 seconds? 3.14159295 etc. Maybe walk in circles to celebrate.
