Sigh. I really hoped I would have been wrong in the below post…
Re-reading it now, can DeVries be a better hire than what Brad Brownell might have been is the new question. Let me be clear, I have faith in Darian, but looking at May/McCollum’s success just makes it hurt more.
@CrimsonCast Ben M is the biggest risk. IU is above considering a 1 year D1 coach. But he is one of the few that truly has the potential to be a home run hire. Would you really feel better about Brownell over McCollum? Can we potentially live with losing to May/McCollum for the next 20 years?
Just wait until the Hoosier faithful descend upon the bars. We may only have been good-GOOD in football for the past 2 years, but we've never lost a tailgate in 139 years & have 75 years of Little 5 training just for this very moment. We will absolutely drink south Florida dry.
Indiana had long accepted its fate as a college football laughingstock. Now, it’s two wins away from a stunning national title. Here’s how Curt Cignetti changed everything—and transformed a Hoosiers fan base that’s discovering what a run like this can really mean.

Indiana wins their first bowl game since the 1991 Copper Bowl, ending their streak as the only P4 team without a bowl win this millennium.
They do so by obliterating the greatest dynasty of this century in the Rose Bowl, 38-3, to advance to the Semifinal.
To clarify for the dense people in the replies: No, JMU is not bussing to Oregon.
The Dukes bus to an off-campus location where each player picks up a Lime scooter. They then travel as a pack via scooter with the linemen at the front and back to fend off wild animals.
