Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the cornerstone of our daily work.

Every day, they support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) by providing personalized care and assistance to help them live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Help us celebrate the incredible DSPs in our community! Tag a DSP in the comments and thank them for all they do. 💙

We can tell lawmakers why the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) community deserves funding, but it's also important to show them.

That's why we need YOU to share your story: https://t.co/1s60tKI8kh

Your voice matters.

This year, we're calling for a 3.4% Targeted Inflationary Increase, CareForce Wage Investment, and restoration of the Healthcare Enhancement Program.

These investments will help providers retain staff, keep up with rising costs, and strengthen services for people with I/DD.

📣 It's time to rally! Please join us at the New York State Capitol on November 16 and tell lawmakers to invest in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) service system.

As we wrap up the week, let's not overlook some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

The I/DD community and their workforce deserve our advocacy & support. Urge lawmakers to include the full 4% TII in the final NYS budget: https://t.co/Dg6cSB63sq

Tell your legislators that the final budget must include the full 4% TII: https://t.co/Dg6cSB5vCS @GovKathyHochul @andreascousins @PatriciaFahy46 @AsmSantabarbara

Our message is clear: funding for the I/DD care system must keep pace with demand. A full 4% TII is essential to sustain services, support staff, and ensure providers can continue to meet the needs of New Yorkers with I/DD. #InvestInUs
