Regardless, you know that noble blood—or mostly noble petrol—runs through the cyborg, meaning it was raised on the ancient knowledge of the cosmos. Knowledge that will prove invaluable for the battle to come.

Recruiting allies is pesky business. The Oracle may have joined your cause with little convincing, but the condescension was hard to bare.

And now, listening to this cyborg prattle off nonsense disguised as equations necessary to defeat The Beastmaster was taking its toll. You struggle to recall how the two of you spent so much time together growing up on the Fondoon Moons.

You appreciate that when you finally find her those eyes are hidden behind the visor she often wears as a courtesy to her guests. The Oracle smiles to herself as you enter her tent. “What took you so long? You’re late.”

Swallowing your pride, you approach the camp of The Oracle. Rumoured to harness the ancient power of Suggestion, it was said that she could plant a thought in your mind disguised as your own—all it took was a look into those aethereal eyes.

Your chuckle grows into a hearty laugh as you unholster your GTFO Transporter Ray, aim it at your chest and watch a scowl form on the Beastmaster’s face.

The weapon slips from your fingers as you drop before The Beastmaster. Chuckling to yourself, you consider all who told you facing him alone was a mistake. Some things need to be discovered for themselves you suppose.

As you take what you believe to be your last breath of the dusty space soil air, you recall the last bit of gear you packed for this battle.

One flash of your dagger and the imp flees. Not so tough now! You turn to see where Spike ran to but breathe a sigh of relief as you see a grinning Old Man Nutters, leash in hand, standing before the woods. You only hope he doesn’t want a share of the gold!
