This is #AlphaV1’s main #prototype, used mainly for #firmware #programming. We used an #ArduinoMega with a custom made #PCB out of a #stripboard. This #prototype has been through many hours of #testing.

We used #AlphaV1’s ancestor to #tow a 650kg (1430 lb) car with Mark II. Mark II is 30kg (66lb) #CombatRobot and powered by #sensored #brushless #motors. The #gearbox is a modified version of @VEXRobotics products. Mark II is equipped with an #aruduinomega for monitoring & control

We used #AlphaV1‘s grandparent with MarkII, the 30kg #combatrobot we built in our second year. Mark II had an internal air #compressor and 2 #cylinders to extend its shield and ram into opponents. Mark II runs on #arduinomega and equipped with many #vexrobotics parts.
