On 29 September 2026, Havildar (GD) Jangkhokai Kuki of 21 Assam Rifles ( AR) made the supreme sacrifice after sustaining grievous injuries while valiantly countering an attack by unknown insurgents in Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh.
