🌱 Renewable Energy as a Solution to Climate Change
On 7 July 2026, (CRPS)successfully convened a multi-stakeholder discussion forum in Kismayo on the role of renewable energy in addressing climate change.
The discussions emphasized:
✅ Expanding access to renewable energy
✅ Strengthening climate resilience
✅ Promoting green investments
✅ Supporting evidence-based environmental policies
✅ Building partnerships for a sustainable future
As part of its flagship study From Counterterrorism to Prevention, conducted a PCVE Data Collection Exercise in Kismayo April 2025. Community insights on governance, youth exclusion, and economic vulnerability are informing a shift toward prevention-centered security.
