Physios who swear regularly are not automatically unprofessional, and it can be a sign of greater intelligence and authenticity and can help build trust, respect, and stronger relationships with others!
Great campaign from @Ageing_Better to increase public understanding of ageism. Ageism can often be dismissed as harmless, but it is hugely detrimental. Notice it, challenge it, change it!

We have encouraged Lord Ara Darzi's review to focus on implementing a system-level, evidence-based approach to the care of older people living with #frailty which could transform service delivery across @NHSEngland. https://t.co/CM6y8iZsuS
I'm at #Quality2024 live, listening to @AmyCEdmondson talking about principles from her book “The Right Kind of Wrong – The Science of Failing Well”. Amy differentiates three kinds of failures in organisations:
1) Basic failures: caused by carelessness or ignorance
2) Complex failures: caused by a combination of multiple systemic factors, none of which would have caused failure on its own
3) Intelligent failures (the most productive kind): where organisations/teams test new ideas, at small scale to learn & develop.

Chilling words

Prioritising #rehabilitation and growing the workforce is necessary to meet increasing global demand, say @sivanmanoj and @ProfNegrini

I was an NHS doctor,
Then burnout and mental illness happened.
I left medicine but
Without it... I felt lost.
Here are 3 things I learnt from leaving the NHS,
3 things everyone should know.
We urge the Government to allocate funding to allow systems to roll out #ProactiveCare. Effective implementation of proactive care will save the NHS money in the long term as it will help older people to remain well without needing costly hospital care. https://t.co/5rIyjEI3Ys
