Here's how 270k traders were liquidated on long positions, totaling over $1.5 billion:

This marks the largest day of long liquidations since the cycle began in October. In terms of percentages, $BTC experienced a 13.75% drop.

However, this isn't the largest percentage drop, as was the case on March 5th. But the liquidations during that time were only half of what occurred during this recent drop.

This difference is because the recent drop occurred in two stages, both triggered by geopolitical conflicts. Many who bought the first dip hoping for a quick reversal were caught in a further downside move.

Past significant liquidation events include:

- March 5th: -13.92% ($800M)
- January 3rd: -8.59% ($600M)
- March 19th: -9.49% ($500M)
- November 14th: -4.53% ($300M)
