The Milwaukee Police Department has confirmed a 4-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle on 3rd and Nash tonight. Police said she suffered critical injuries and the driver fled the scene. @WISN12News
Family says this is the victim in the Brookfield murder-suicide yesterday. Sierra Alvarez, 34, was shot and killed in a home on Apple Tree Lane. Her family says she and the gunman were in a longterm relationship and shared a 19-month-old son together. @WISN12News
Police declined to confirm any information about the victim or shooter, other than to say he was a 35-year-old Menomonee Falls man — discovered in a parked car at Orchard Lane Elementary hours later, dead by suicide. The shooter’s family declined to comment Thursday. @WISN12News
